The BVNA is working closely with
Milwaukee County Parks to organize events during “Winter Break”
this holiday season. Milwaukee County Parks will be selling hot
chocolate, Alterra Coffee, and other concessions during the
School Holiday Break from December 22 – January 1 at the
Humboldt Park pavilion (hours 11-6pm). The pavilion “skate
room” provides accommodations to warm up, sit, and enjoy hot
cocoa and relax.
Directly across from the Humboldt Park pavilion is the pond,
which patrons can access for free ice-skating (weather
permitting.) There are community “pick up” games of hockey,
broom-ball, and other events during the holiday break.
