ANNUAL BVNA MEETING - open invitation

The BVNA will be hosting their annual meeting on Tuesday, March 25 at 6:30 pm. at Mercy Hill Church, 2625 S. Greeley St (in the same complex as Hide House).


  • Review and approve the BVNA’s new and exciting Mission and Vision Statement

  • Elect new board members

  • Receive an update on this year's BVNA accomplishments

  • Learn about future plans and initiatives


At this time, we are looking for nominations from members of potential new board members. The following seats will be elected:


Membership Chair (1), responsible for the leading membership-building and recognition activities, maintaining the membership database and encouraging membership awareness and participation in BVNA events.


Public Spaces Chair (1), responsible for maximizing the appearance and utilization of Bay View’s public spaces, including parks, the lakefront, and boulevards, through collaboration and creative ideas.


Environmental Chair (1), responsible for raising awareness and organizing initiatives that encourage an environmentally conscious and green Bay View, including park, river and lake clean-ups, rain barrel and energy efficiency projects


District 2 Representative (1), responsible for developing opportunities for connecting the geographic area of Bay View that is bordered by Lincoln Ave on the North, I-794 on the West, Oklahoma on the South, and Lake Michigan on the East with overall Bay View and BVNA activities.

At Large Representative (2), support the overall committee structure of the board, including stepping in to fill vacant positions when necessary.

All members interested in running for a seat on the board are asked to submit a letter if interest to the nominating committee.

It has been an amazing year for the BVNA, and we hope to see you at the Annual Meeting so that we can share our successes and all that we still hope to accomplish.
