County and Municipal Candidate Forum and Debate
The Bay View Compass and Bay View Neighborhood Association are hosting a candidate debate and forum 7-9pm Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Humboldt Park School.
Confirmed guests include the candidates vying to represent the city’s 14th Aldermanic District, incumbent Tony Zielinski and challenger Jan Pierce, plus incumbent Milwaukee County Supervisors Marina Dimitrijevic and challenger Bill Buresh, and Jason Haas, for the Fourth and Fourteenth districts respectively.
The League of Women Voters will moderate the forum. The event is free and open to the public. Bring your questions for the candidates or email them in advance to editor@bayviewcompass.com, subject line: FORUM.
Because a robust turnout for the event is anticipated, event organizers recommend arriving early to secure seating.

7:05pm-8:05pm - District 14 Aldermanic Candidates: Ald. Tony Zielinski and Jan Pierce (four 10-minute debates plus 20-min Q&A of 5 audience questions)
8:10pm-9:10pm - District 4 County Supervisor Candidates: Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic and Bill Buresh (four 10-minute debates plus 20-min Q&A of 5 audiencde questions)
9:15pm-9:45pm - District 14 County Supervisor Jason Haas will answer questions from the audience.
