During these uncertain times, the Bay View Neighborhood Association embraces our responsibility, to both neighbors and local businesses, to share and consolidate information and resources. We hope to provide any and all updates, closures, adjustments, and community resources shared with us during this time.
BUSINESSES: Let us know what adjustments you've needed to make during this time. Submit updates about closures, new hours of operations, curbside services, employee GoFundMe pages, virtual experiences, etc. Click the link below to let us know how your business model has needed to evolve as a result of COVID-19.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS & NEIGHBORS: Let us know about resources our neighborhood should know about. This includes, but is not limited to, free or discounted supplies, food drives, childcare, online/virtual substitutions for regularly scheduled activities, training, etc.

Check out #gregslist, a crowd-sourced page on untapped.com highlighting Milwaukee-area businesses offering pick-up, delivery, curb-side, and gift cards. Updates may take some time, but you should see accurate info for much of Milwaukee by this weekend. If you are in a position to do so, please take a moment to search the results and make a plan to support these businesses.
Korinthian Violins is by appointment only for the duration of the MPS closure, and appointments can be absolutely any time, since there is no schedule at home to conflict with. There are new protocols for being in our store and trying instruments and bows now. Everyone is required to wash their hands upon entry. Anything handled that the customer leaves behind sits in quarantine for at least three days. Learning music is a wonderful pursuit, so we want to help facilitate people being able to do so during these strange times.
Barre District Bay View
After much long and careful consideration, we have decided to suspend all in-person Barre District Bay View classes effective Monday 3/16 through at least Sunday 3/29. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates for when classes will resume. We feel responsible to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and practice social distancing. Holding in-person classes is no longer the responsible choice. However, we're very excited to have moved to an Online Class platform for the time being! Anyone can join us from home with no special equipment required. Follow these steps to access our online classes, so you can stay healthy and active even when you're stuck at home! $20 for this first month will help to pay our instructors creating this online content, and help us to offset some of our normal business expenses while we cannot hold in-person fitness classes. Step 1: Purchase 1 Month of Online Barre Fitness Classes for $20. Use the link below, or purchase on the MINDBODY App on the Barre District Bay View page. Step 2: Request to join our Facebook Group, "BDBV Online". Admission will be pending until $20 Package is purchased. Step 3: Start taking classes right away! Thank you for your support! Stay healthy and safe out there.

Our taproom is closed to the public but we're offering online ordering of beer, merchandise, and gift cards through our website. We're still doing curbside pickup while we can as we're not allowed by law to deliver beer. You can call Tommy at 414-704-4085 or James at 414-364-6225 with any questions or orders. We're very worried and your support is extremely valued by us and our staff.
Community Bark - Bay View
We are closed for all dog washing, nail trimming and grooming activities, but as the owner, I'm available for curbside delivery of retail products like Fromm's food, treats, poop bags, etc. Customers can call our text me at 414-305-1431 and I can meet them at the store with short notice. I can take credit card payment over the phone, then deliver product to your car. I will deliver to a home as well, if needed. No delivery charge.
Bike & Body
Bike & Body is still open and seeing clients. Per the CDC, the coronavirus is known to spread via contact or droplets. What this means is that all surfaces must be routinely sanitized and we must avoid directing a cough/sneeze at each other. Bike & Body remains a low-risk environment, with only 4-5 clients visiting the office per day (that's nothing like the grocery store!). On a personal note: Dr. Deb is practicing social isolation outside of Bike & Body in order to remain low-risk to her clients. So if you find that you're in pain and don't want to turn to the large healthcare system, please reply to this email so we can chat. Here's a few key points that will ensure your safety, and the safety of others, when you visit Bike & Body: If you feel sick, please stay home...it's not worth it! All clients will be required to hand sanitize upon entering the studio. Prior to each visit, all clients will be asked if they, or someone in their household, is feeling sick or has been sick in the last several days. All clients will be asked if they, or someone in their household, has traveled out of the country in the last 3 months. We fully sanitize everything a client touches before AND after all appointments (this is no different from our year-round standard practices). Dr. Deb wears gloves for all hands-on treatment - and this includes DRY NEEDLING and BIKE FITS. Disposable face cradle covers will be used for each client who uses the treatment table Dr. Deb will keep a 6-ft distance from you when possible, and during direct treatment will direct her breath away from you. Let's not cough on each other, but if you have to cough or sneeze, it's time to hand sanitize again! - All clients will be reminded to avoid touching their face in order to minimize the risk of virus transmission. Bike & Body will remain in contact with all clients seen to ensure that no one has tested positive for the virus, which would result in closing the doors. Please respond to this email if you have any concerns. We look forward to seeing you soon. Stay safe out there, everyone!
