Every winter we host a warming event for our neighbors and other Milwaukeeans to get together and have a blast! In 2012, the BVNA announced its very first luau-themed Winter Blast! 2014 Winter Blast will be on February 16th from Noon-4.
The luau-themed festivities are awesome, too: a Hawaiian shirt contest, hula hoop and limbo contests, spam carving and face-painting. A tiki photo booth will be available for you and your friends and family to take memorable tiki-themed photos.
Live music, delicious food from local restaurants, face-painting, contests, and booths from numerous community and neighborhood groups are just a part of what to expect at Winter Blast.
It's a great place to warm up and chat with your neighbors in the middle of winter!
