The BVNA is a Community Partner with the Milwaukee Film Festival, and it is our honor to be partnered with the film "Sijan," the true story of the Bay View neighbor. His story starts right in our back yard, and the journey is one of love, honor, survival, and dignity. "Sijan" is showing at the Avalon at 6pm on Sunday, October 28th. UPDATE: ONLINE TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT FOR THE MOVIE, SOME MAY BE AVAILABLE AT THE BOX OFFICE AT THE AVALON.
The BVNA will be hosting a meet and greet for the film producers and directors (and Bay View Neighbors) Janine Sijan Rozina and Tim Seymour at the Avalon Theater's new restaurant, Mistral, on Sunday, October 28th starting a 5pm as well as after the film concludes around 7:30pm. We will be showcasing the Mistral's new menu! You do not need to attend the movie to meet Janine and Tim! Please RSVP. Space is limited, so please choose your time.
But you can still see the show! We will be giving away 2 tickets for the final showing of "Sijan" at the Oriental on Tuesday, October 30 at 12:30pm.
